Abiding....or busy

Mary and Martha...two sisters.  How are they so different?  In Luke 10 we see their story and how they interact with Jesus.  Luke 10:38-4238 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.

40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” 41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,
42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
How many times are we like the sister that is busy busy busy for God.  We have to have everything right, we have to make sure everything is perfect?  I do it all the time and I am pretty certain I am not the only one.  I love Jesus' response to Martha, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about so many things, but few of these you actually need...actually only one is.  Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
Now I have heard some say he is referring to worshiping Jesus, but I feel He is simply just talking about being with Him.  Or, is it possible that just being with Him is actually worshiping Him?  Think about your week as it goes along, what are you doing?  Abiding or busy?
